Urban Internship
The Mission:
Our
mission is to arrange our lives to purposefully bring God's
Kingdom to the forgotten people of our city. We will commit
to seeking greater intimacy with Christ as we pursue true
community with others, and strive to holistically love our
neighbors around us.
The Family:
Ancient Paths Church is a network of believers gathering as
spiritual families in various places around NE urban
Denver. We seek to function as an intreconnected community
that cultivates disciples that love God with everything
they have, and love their neighbors in the same manner.
The
Community:
The northeast area of the inner-city of Denver is very
diverse. We work with African-Americans, Hispanics,
Native Americans, and Anglos. Our area of Denver also
has a large homeless population and a fast growing
population of young professionals. Within each of
these communities we look to humbly serve our neighbors,
developing whole people who can live the full life they are
called to.
Lifestyle
Activies:
- Read assigned books and discuss implications for your
community
- Serve in your local community using your giftings
- Regularly prayer walk various parts of the city
- Participate in a gathering of believers
- Meet regularly with a spiritual leader for personal
discipleship
